Offshore Fishing Charters
Are you looking for Offshore Fishing Guides? Look no further. I have all the equipment and skills needed, for you to have the fishing trip of a life time. We fish out of Crystal River, Homosassa, Yankeetown, Tarpon Springs, Tampa Bay, Clearwater, Sarasota or Boca Grande.
With half full day trips starting as low as $600 for two anglers, we’ll explore the offshore waters geared towards the type of fish you want to catch and where the best bite is happening. If you are serious about having a good time and catching a lot of fish, then you have come to the right charter captain.
Some of my favorite local fishing villages for catching fish are Ozello, Yankeetown, and Homosassa.
Ozello is a small place between Crystal River and Homosassa. It has a long winding road with scenic views and a couple of small bridges leading to the quiet village islands. This is where I like to do my air boating. Cruising along the grass flats scanning the waters for fish, birds, dolphins, and manatees. Its almost like going back in time with the views of nothing but mangrove islands in your sight. You will find the people of Ozello laid back and courteous. It a different place, where people have learned through generations to work together with one another, and there is enough for everyone to enjoy.
Yankeetown Florida is just a short ride north of Crystal River on HWY 19. A quiet little fishing village where the people are friendly and the views of the beautiful Withlacoochee River will remain in your mind forever. This is my favorite place to fish in the Nature Coast. The shorelines are littered with creeks and barrier islands. I have been fishing here for over thirty years and haven’t notice a whole lot of change, on land or water. There aren’t a whole lot of places like this left. The area is one of the best, places to catch Redfish, in the Big Bend of Florida.
Homosassa is another hot spot on the Nature Coast. This old fishing village is full of old time locals that are glad to share their old fishing tales with you. Homosassa holds several line class records for tarpon. It’s about a fifteen-minute ride South of Crystal River and full of great places on the water to eat at.

Inshore and Offshore Charter Fishing
Our group of 4 booked a fishing charter with Captain Shawn of Salt River Outfitters, and it turned out to be best charter we had ever been on. We fished from 7am-3pm and caught our limit of trout and gag grouper and caught many other species throughout the day. Shawn is a super nice guy, and taught us a lot about fishing the Crystal River area. When we returned to the dock, he cleaned and bagged all our fish while we sat poolside sipping cocktails at the Plantation Inn…highly recommended!
